Eurovision 2008 Belgrade Serbia another comedy circus show

Here we are again in a few months the whole world waiting to see that GREAT COMEDY of the EUROVISION 2008 SONG CONTEST. What the hell wants Greece to be there, ( and not only Greece but all the western European countries including Cyprus as well) we got a first position a few years ago with Paparizou thats all, the rest is only our taxes money that ERT uses to promote some unknown “artists” promoted from some TV channels and Greek record companies. Who is Kalomoira or Kakomira, we never knew about her until she was promoted from the usual Greek channel 3 years ago, after she won a stuped “American idol type” show. She even become a co-presenter with another “Blond`Greek Beauty”, an ex unknown flower pot of another old TV show and today a big name in the morning stuped shows off the Greek television breakfast TV and one day from that show she mad some bad references about our island because of her ignorance and she had to give a “pardon” after people of Leros got really ungry . The other person elected as candidate was someone with the name Martakis (who and the other one is a Pagona or Chrispa (Που τους βρισκουν ρε παιδια)…… . Finally I personally with a few hundred more millions of western Europeans believe that Greece as well as France, UK, BENELUX, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and all the rest of WEST EUROPE should stop taking part in that rediculus contest that have become an internal affair among the east European countries and the countries of former USSR and former Yugosavia, Albania and Turkey. I believe West Europe Greee and Cyprus should stop partisipate in that cuture insulting circus.

Corfu island Greece

The Greek island of Corfu or is the northernmost and second largest of the Ionian Islands. Corfu location on the map of Greece is in the Ionian Sea, the part of the Mediterranean Sea that has to the north the Adriatic Sea. Corfu lies at the level of the southern Italy coast and very near to the Albanian coast. The island has lush vegetation is also known as the green island of Greece. Together with some smaller islands Corfu is the Prefecture of Corfu or Kerkyra in Greek. Corfu has an international airport and is the home of the Ionian University with faculties of history, Greek music, languages, and social stdies. Corfu is one of the most prosperous regions in Greece.
The capital city is Corfu, the island its widest in the north, and narrows to the south. The coastline have a total length of 217 kilometers and form several bays and capes. The territory is mostly mountainous, particularly in the north. Foreigners call  the island Corfu, the two peaks appear as the visitor on the island.

Higher peaks is the Pantocrator 914 m and Stravoskiadi 849 meters. Corfu,  is one of the most densely populated islands in the Mediterranean with a large population density. Among th famous cuisine of Corfu is the traditional dishes of pastitsada, the sofrito and the bourdeto . Corfu Town has a population of 29000 residents   and is one of the oldest cities in Greece.
In 1815 Corfu was part of the Republic of the Ionian islands under the British protectorate. During the British period a large part of the modern infrastructure, was made`such as the 700 km long road network, which is one of the densest in Greece . On 21 May 1864 Corfu was part of  Greece.
Corfu is a popular holiday destination for packages and individual tourists. The island also offers educational interesting tourist destinations. The largest group of visitors come from Britain, followed by tourists from Germany and Italy.
